Electricalconnectionsshouldbemadebya
qualifiedelectricianinaccordancewithall
applicablecodesorrequirements.Usea
separatebranchcircuittopowereach
machine.Donotsharecircuitswithlighting
oranyotherequipment.
Ashieldedliquidtightorapprovedflexible
conduitwithproperconductorofcorrect
sizeinstalledinaccordancewithNational
ElectricCode(USA)orotherapplicable
codesisrequired.Theconnectionmustbe
madebyaqualifiedelectricianusingthe
wiringdiagramprovidedwiththemachine.
Forpersonalsafetyandforproper
operation,themachinemustbegrounded
inaccordancewithstateandlocalcodes
andintheUSAinaccordancewiththe
NationalElectricCode,article250-96.
Thegroundconnectionmustbetoaproven
earthground,nottoconduitorwaterpipes.
Donotconnectthegroundtotheneutral
(N)legattheterminalstrip(ifsoequipped).
IfaDELTAsupplysystemisused,thehigh
legshouldbeconnectedtoL3,since
controlvoltageisderivedfromL1andL2.
Insurethatthecontroltransformertapsare
connectedinaccordancewiththeincoming
linevoltage.Verifyconnectionsasshown
ontheschematicwitheachmachine.
