Requirements
TherearemanymethodsbywhichtheIP
seriesIronercanbeconnectedtothegas
supply.Followingaresomeguidelinesfor
methodsofconnection.
Flexiblestainlesssteelgasconnector:
Option1:
Iflocalcodespermit,useanewflexible
stainlesssteelconnector(Designcertifiedby
theAmericanGasAssociationorCSA
International)toconnectbetweentheironer
andthegassupplyline.Useanelbowand
a½”flarex¾”NPTadapterfitting
betweenthestainlesssteelgasconnector
andthegasinletofthemachineasneeded
topreventkinking.
Otherapprovedpiping:
Lengthsunder25feet(6.1m)use¾”
approvedtubing.
Lengthsover25feet(6.1m)shoulduse
largerpiping.
Pipejointcompoundsthatresisttheaction
ofgasmustbeused.DONOTUSE
