Notice:Donotperformmaintenanceon

1.Inspecttheareabetweenthe
thermostatsledandtheironingcylinder.
Gentlyliftthepickupsledawayfrom
thecylinder.
2.Cleananydebrisfoundawayfrom
thepickupsledandcylinder.
3.Ensurethatthepickupsledremains
incontactwiththeironingcylinder.
1.Befamiliarwiththecontrols-see
diagramonthepreviouspage.
2.TurntheheatcontroltotheOFF
position,androtatethespeedcontrolto
theminimum(counter-clockwise)
position.
3.Pressthegreenstartbuttonfor1-2
seconds.
4.Ensurethatthefeedbeltsrotate
towardstheironingcylinder.
5.Verifythatthefinger/handguard
safetypanelimmediatelystopsthe
Priortostartingthefirstshift
oftheday:
ToOperateIroner:
ironerwhenpressed.Iftheironerdoes
notstop,discontinueuseandfollowall
lockout/tagoutproceduresandcalla
qualifiedservicetechnician.
6.Restarttheironerbypressingthe
greenstartbuttonfor1-2seconds.
Steps7&8areforgasheatedmodelsonly
7.TurntheheatswitchtotheON
position.After30seconds,heatingwill
begin.Thetemperatureindicatoronthe
temperaturecontrolshouldindicate
increasingtemperature.Theset
temperatureisfactoryprogrammedto
150°C(302°F).
8.Theheatindicatorlampwillgoout
oncethesettemperatureisreached.
9.Placelinenonthefeedtable,
allowingthefeedbeltstoautomatically
pullthegoodsintotheironer.
NOTE:Whenironingsmallgoodssuchas
pillowcases,workfromlefttorightalong
thelengthoftheironer.Thiswillprovide
optimumresults-runningsmallgoodsin
“laneswillresultincoolspotsonthe
cylinderandpoorironingperformance,and
coulddamagethefeedingandreturnbelts.
