Atshutdown,wipemachinedownwitha
mildcleaningagentandvacuumorsweep
upanylintthathasaccumulated.Lintis
highlyflammable!
Inspectsafetylabelsandreplaceanythat
aredamaged,worn,orillegible.
Inspecttheguideribbons(guidetape)for
damagedormissingribbons.Replaceas
necessary.
Inspectfeedbeltsforpropertension.There
shouldbenoslippageastheironerruns.
Donotovertightenthefeedbelts,asthis
willcauseprematurewear.
Inspectthereturnbeltsforpropertension.
Returnbeltstendtoelongateafterinitial
startupandwearin.
Inspectthedrivechainandgears.
Inspectthecompressionrollandensurethat
thepressureiscorrect.Thecompression
rollshouldonlyslightlytouchtheironing
cylinderandnotexerttoomuchpressure.
Forsteammodels,inspecttherotarysteam
jointforleaks.Ifaleakisnoted,arepairkit
