Audio Assignment
Multi-Channel Analog Type - Select either 5.1 or 7.1, depending on the multi-
channel analog outputs on the source. If the source has 6 multi-channel ana-
log outputs select 5.1 If the source has 8 multi-channel analog outputs select
7.1.
Multi-Channel Analog Input - The receiver provides one set of multi-channel
analog inputs that may be assigned to any A/V input. When assigned to an
Input 1 through 8, the audio may be switched to or from the multi-channel ana-
log inputs using the IR or BKC-DIP Serial codes. When assigned to an Input 9
through 14, the audio may only be assigned to the multi-channel analog input
through the menu.
Balanced Analog - NOT USED WITH THE AVR 707 RECEIVER.
AES/EBU - NOT USED WITH THE AVR 707 RECEIVER.
Input 9 through Input 14 - Video from any HDMI input may be assigned to be linked with audio from any optical digital, coax digital or two chan-
nel analog input 1 through 9.
Max Level / Surround Mode
Max Level - Set to limit the maximum system volume level.
Surround Mode - Set to Auto for automatic Stereo to Movie mode changes if
multi-channel 5.1 to 7.1 audio bitstreams (Dolby Digital or DTS) are detected.
Set to Manual if this feature is not desired.
