Foreword We congratulate you with your decision to purchase our reveered niche amplifiers. Every product developed by implements the keystones of our company philosophy; Optimum sound reproduction within its range, etter ass & high performance. These elements will enable you to reproduce music the way you prefer. Our amplifiers features a unique design, a variety of applications & highest possible effiency combined with a clean analytical sound.
1. Design features Circuit Configuration Frequency Response Signal to Noise Ratio Input Sensitivity Input Level Selector Crossover High Pass Filter High Pass Multiplier Low Pass Crossover Range Low Pass Multiplier Subsonic Crossover Range Bass Boost Phase Output Master / Input Slave Remote Control Damping Factor Power Terminal gauge Fuse Rating Mono HI-EF Class D Mono : 20Hz ~ 250Hz : 100dB : 6V ~ 0.
2. Panel layout Mono INPUT Signal input from the head unit. A minimum level input of 0.2V is essential for correct operation. OUTPUT Output RCA for signal routing to another amplifier. POWER & PROTECTION INDICATOR Power LED, Blue-lit shows correct operation. Protect LED, Red-lit shows general malfunction, faulty connection or thermal protection. GAIN (6V ~ 0.2V) Matching of the output voltage from the head unit’s RCA line-outs to the input section. BASS BOOST Variable bass boost with 0-9 dB @ 45 Hz.
2. Panel layout Quattro LOW PASS FILTER SWITCH Makes the bandwith of the filter range operate in low pass mode when it is in the on position. In off position, the filter will not affect the frequency range of the amplifier. POWER & PROTECTION INDICATOR Power LED, Blue-lit shows correct operation Protect LED, Red-lit shows general malfunction, faulty connection or thermal protection. Power connetors Mono Quattro GND (GROUND CONNECTION) For connection to the chassis’ ground.
3. Installation 3.1 Installation considerations If you choose to install the amplifier by yourself, please read the owners' manual carefully. Before you start your installation, please take all steps into consideration. If in doubt, please go to www.b2audio.com for authorized distributors / dealers that will be able to configure your set up. Feel free to contact us directly for support. Preparation Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable before mounting or making any connection.
3.3 Installation +12V, GND, REM connection chart Head unit Remote turn on Fuse Ground 180A 12V Main Battery Wiring layout We recommend using 12 AWG speaker cables to obtain increased performance. Run 12 AWG speaker cables from your speakers to the amplifier’s mounting location Keep the speaker cables seperate from the power cables and and the amplifier’s input cables. Use grommets where the cables have to penetrate the vehichle’s chassis.

3.4 Daisy chain connection Mono Daisy chain connection allows linking of 2 Mono amplifiers to work as 1 single amplifier. Please read the following connection diagram cautiosly to ensure the correct connection. Step 1. Connect the master Mono amplifier to the head unit and set its output master and input slave switch to output master position. Step 2 . Connect the master and slave Mono amplifier in daisy chain Rca jack as shown in the diagram. Step 3 .
3.4 Daisy chain connection Mono Head unit FUSE 360A GROUND 12V 8 Main Battery CAUTION The minimum impedance as 1 unit is 1 . In a daisy chain configuration the minimum impedance is 2 .
4. Troubleshooting Assure that the Power LED is on, if so please proceed with step # 3, if not, continue with the steps below; 1. Check the in line fuse (s) on the battery’s positive cable, replace if needed. 2. Assure that the Ground is properly attached to the vehichle’s chassis on a clean metal point, tighten or grind the connection point once again. 3. Our amplifiers have a low/high voltage protection.
