Bed Rail Assembly and Set Up Step 1 : Remove bed rail from packaging and set all parts out in front of you. Step 2 : Start by inserting the one side of the Horizontal Support Tube into the Left Receiver Assembly and then insert the opposite end of the tube into the Right Receiver Assembly. It is important to make sure the spring button has a secure engagement so that they cannot be pulled apart. (Diagram A1) (Diagram A1) Step 3 : Next, install the straps for the Anchor parts.
Once the tab is in the open position, feed the end of the strap through the locking tab. (Diagram B4) Secure the strap by closing the locking tab. (Diagram B5) (Diagram B4) (Diagram B5) NOTE : Repeat process for right side of assembly. IMPORTANT: Before stringing the strap through, make sure it is not twisted in any way. It must be laying completely flat for proper adjustment.
Step 4 : With mattress removed from bed, place lower assembly on the box spring or platform of the bed or crib. (Diagram C1) Make sure that the straps are not twisted in any way so that the bed rail can be proper adjusted and tightened. Set the mattress over the bed rail mounting assembly.
Step 5 : Proper tightening and adjustment- locate the locking tab on the Left Receiver Assembly. Make sure it is in the open position. (Diagram D1) With tab in the open position, pull the anchor strap until the bed rail mounting assembly is tight up against the mattress. When the strap is snug, be sure to close the locking tab to secure the strap. (Diagram D2) (Diagram D1) (Diagram D2) Step 6 : Repeat the previous steps for the right side of the bed rail assembly.
Installing the Wooden Rail Step 7 : Installing the Wooden Rail- Grab the bed rail at each end. Insert the plastic tabs into the Left and Right Receivers until you hear a ‘click’ sound. (Diagram F1 and F2) Make sure that the Wooden Rail is secure by pulling up on it. The rail should not disengage from the mounting assembly.
Removing the Wooden Rail Step 8 : Removing the Wooden Rail- Locate the release buttons on the sides of the Left and Right Receivers on the mounting assembly. (Diagram G1) Press the release button while pulling up on the Wooden Rail. (Diagram G2 and G3) If you cannot release both sides at the same time, you will just need to remove them one at a time.

Paso 5 : Apriete y ajuste correctos - Ubique la lengüeta trabante en el conjunto del receptor izquierdo. Cerciórese de que esté en posición abierta. (Diagrama D1) Con la lengüeta en dicha posición, jale la tira de anclaje hasta que el conjunto de montaje de la barandilla de cama quede apretado contra el colchón. Cuando la tira quede ceñida, cerciórese de cerrar la lengüeta trabante a fin de fijar la tira.
Instalación de la barandilla de madera Paso 7 : Instalación de la barandilla de madera - Tome la barandilla de cama por cada extremo. Introduzca las lengüetas plásticas en los receptores izquierdo y derecho hasta que escuche un chasquido. (Diagramas F1 y F2) Jale la barandilla hacia arriba para cerciorarse de que esté fija. La barandilla no debe soltarse del conjunto de montaje.
Retiro de la barandilla de madera Paso 8 : Retiro de la barandilla de madera - Ubique los botones de liberación en los receptores izquierdo y derecho en el conjunto de montaje. (Diagrama G1) Oprima el botón de liberación mientras levanta la barandilla de madera. (Diagramas G2 y G3) Si no puede liberar ambos lados al mismo tiempo, deberá retirarlos uno a la vez.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE Periodically check the bed rail for signs of damage, wear and/or for missing components. Do not use if any part is missing, worn or damaged. Check the bed rail regularly to make sure all hardware and mountings are tight and secure. Do not use abrasive cleaners or bleach when cleaning. Proper cleaning of bed rail can be done by sponging it with warm water and mild detergent.
