- The dierence in weight in relation to the previous weighing
The rst indicator of your weight is simply its evolution
over time. Without any eort to remember, your scales
automatically calculate the gain in or loss of weight sin-
ce the last time you weighed yourself and an indicator
light shows you the extent of this change.
- The Body Mass Index (BMI)
The BMI is a coecient used by nutritionists that invol-
ves weight and height. It places individuals in weight
categories recognised by the scientic community. Its
measurement complements that of weight.
USE
These scales have 2 dierent modes of use:
“Guest” mode: Use this mode if you only want to check
your weight.
“User” mode: This mode is the best ally to your gure.
In this mode, each user has his or her own session. The
scales use personal data saved in the memory to cal-
culate your body mass index and your change in wei-
ght compared to the previous weighing.
Caution: it is important to read all the instructions be-
fore using the scales for the rst time.
Instructions for use:
To obtain the most reliable results possible, make sure:
you always place your feet in the same position on the
scales,
you weigh yourself without clothes and in bare feet,
you don’t move while your weight is being calcula
-
ted,
you don’t weigh yourself too often. It is recommended
that you limit yourself to once a week and keep the
same interval between each session,
you weigh yourself at the same time of day. In fact, in
the course of the same day, your weight can change.
This is generally the case when you get up, after ea-
ting, taking a bath, doing intense physical exercise or
taking certain products.
