MODEL 300 COMBUSTION ANALYZER
1-2 Instruction 24-9223
1.2 BASIC FEATURES
Three large LED readouts display the following information about both
the combustion process being analyzed, and the instrument itself:
•O
2
Cell Output (mV) • CO Level in ppm • % Loss
• Analyzer Errors • % Efficiency • % O
2
• Stack Temperature (°F /°C) • % Excess Air • % CO
2
Because the Model 300 Combustion Analyzer is a “smart” instrument, its
operation is fast and virtually mistake-proof. Programmed routines lead
the operator through the proper sequence of start-up and test procedures,
signaling what action is required, and locking the instrument into a
waiting mode until the proper action is taken.
The instrument’s microprocessor is programmed to compute percent
efficiency, percent excess air, and percent carbon dioxide for the seven
fuels described in Table 2 (in the front of this manual).
In addition to the instrument’s microprocessor control and display
circuitry, the following items are also provided with each Model 300
Combustion Analyzer inside its suitcase style carrying case:
• Particulate trap wrench.
• AC power supply, or battery pack with charger.
• Air-filter/water-trap with three replacement filters.
• Optional printer with one extra roll of paper.
• Instruction manual.
•O

and CO sensor.
• On analyzers supplied with a probe and hose:
· 11 inch rigid probe with integrated particulate trap (optional
extended-length, high-temperature probes are also available).
· 22 feet of hose and thermocouple wire (optional extended lengths
of hose and thermocouple wire are also available).
