4 CALIBRATION
NOTE: Analyzer calibration is available from authorized
Bacharach Service Centers.
This section describes how to check the combustion analyzer’s calibration,
and how to adjust the three potentiometers.
Sensor and/or Control Panel Removal
Ambient Temperature Adjust
Toxic Gas Span Calibration
Thermocouple Span Calibration
Oxygen Sensor Calibration
The potentiometers should be adjusted whenever the analyzer is deter-
mined to be out of calibration using the procedures described in this
section.
Calibration should be checked at least once a month, or whenever neces-
sary as determined by experience.
To check calibration, follow the calibration procedures as described in this
section, but do not remove the control panel or make adjustments as
instructed. The control panel needs to be removed only to access the
calibration potentiometers, and to remove the optional NO
X
and SO
2
sensors.
