made, replace control panel and printer (if applicable).
4.4.2 High-Range Thermocouple Calibration
Up to 2000°F (1093°C)
This procedure calibrates the probe’s thermocouple to be accurate up to a
temperature of 2000°F (1093°C).
NOTE: The Ambient Temperature Calibration pot, R24, must be
adjusted to its correct setting before Thermocouple Span pot R19
can be adjusted.
Equipment Needed (See Section 6 for Part Numbers)
• Potentiometer Adjustment Tool
• Temperature Calibration device (e.g. Omega Model CL23), or
• Thermometer for measuring ambient temperature,
• mV Source,
• K-Type Thermocouple Wire
• K-Type Thermocouple Connector
• Potentiometer Adjustment Tool
