MODEL 300 COMBUSTION ANALYZER
5-2 Instruction 24-9223
4. The new oxygen sensor is shipped in a foil envelope. Use scissors to cut
open the envelope and remove the sensor.
5. Look at the contacts on the oxygen sensor base. Three contacts have
dimples and one has a hole. Line up the oxygen sensor (mesh end
toward the base) so that its plastic screw is just to the right of the
contact with the hole. Rotate the sensor clockwise until its three
stainless steel screwheads are seated in the dimples, and its plastic
screwhead protrudes through the hole. When positioned properly, the
label on the rear of the sensor should be readable.
6. Position flange over rear of sensor; then insert two screws and tighten
with a screwdriver. DO NOT overtighten these screws!
7. Replace sensor cover.
