3.17 Username

The name of the user or owner of the analyzer (e.g. company name,

address, phone number) can be stored in memory by manually entering

up to three lines of text, with each line containing up to 20 alphanumeric

characters. This information will appear at the top of each printout until

new information is entered or cleared.

TIP: To save time Username Information can be entered

using the Fyrite

User Software.

Username Information can be entered as follows:

1. Display the MAIN MENU by

pressing the MENU (F2) button. If

necessary, press ESC until MENU

appears above F2.

2. Use the ▲▼ buttons to highlight

SETUP, and then press ENT to

display the SETUP MENU.

3. Use the ▲▼ buttons to highlight

USERNAME, and then press ENT

to display all three lines of the EDIT

USERNAME screen. Periods(.....)

identify empty lines.

4. Use the ▲▼ buttons to choose which

of the three Username lines to edit,

then press ENT to begin editing the

chosen line.

5. Use the ▲▼ buttons to enter the

desired character and then move

to the next character position by

pressing the right arrow key. Repeat

this step until the line is complete.

A maximum of 20 alphanumeric

characters can be entered.

6. Press ENT to accept the entered

information.

7. At this time, either return to Step 4

to choose another line to edit, or end

this procedure by highlighting Edit

Complete and pressing the ENT key to

return to he Setup Menu.
