When you have finished examining the statistics and information, select the “Close” LEFT Soft Menu key to return to the Utili-
ties menu screen.
Date/Time
To change the date, use the Windows® function for date and time, which is accessed through the Change Date/Time program
on the desktop.
Battery Info
If you need additional information regarding the change status of the battery, press the Battery Info “B” button from the Utili-
ties menu. The current status of the battery charge is displayed:
If the battery is removed for 30 seconds or more, the user will be prompted to enter a current time and date. This must be
done prior to operating the READCENTER® Field Applications.
Selecting the “Close” LEFT Soft Menu key will return you to the previous screen.
Settings
As mentioned earlier, the Trimble Ranger has the ability to change how it operates or what it displays based on your choices.
These choices are called Settings, and are accessed from the Settings button from the Utilities Menu. The Settings are dis-
played and changed in a series of screens. Each setting describes a behavior in the Trimble Ranger that you can control. If the
box has a “” in it, the Trimble Ranger will perform that function. If the box has no “” in it, the Trimble Ranger will not perform
the function.
