Pressing the New Account button will bring up this screen.
You can tap on the box to the right of “Name”, “Addr” and “AMR S/N” buttons to place your editing cursor in those fields. Sim-
ply start typing the text you wish.
The “Name”, “Addr” and “AMR S/N” buttons open an on-screen keyboard to use for text entry.
The other buttons perform these actions:
• AMR Type “Fn-T” – Tap the box to choose the method by which the meter will be read: manual, touch, ORION RF
• Service “Fn -S” – Tap the box to choose the service that the meter is reading
• Clear “Fn -E” – Clear all textual entries you have made (AMR Type and Service Type are not reset)
• ”Cancel” LEFT Soft Menu key – Return to the Read Menu (if you have not saved the new account information, the
new account will not be added)
• “Save” RIGHT Soft Menu key – Saves the new account information, and clears the entries
Route Operations
The READCENTER® software performs a number of functions on a per route basis. They are:
• Searching for the first meter in a specific route,
• Reviewing the progress of meter reading on a per route basis,
• And, displaying a message showing completion of the route when the last unread meter of the route is read.
