To access the Badger Meter ORION Programming functions press the “P” key from the ORION Quick Read screen, and then
from the Copyright screen of the READCENTER-Quick Read program, enter your 3 to 5 character User name and select the
“OK” RIGHT Soft Menu key. You’ll see this screen:
Note that you must perform a Read function before you can perform any other function.
The IR Programming tab allows you to perform these functions:
• Read a endpoint’s information through the optical LED – select the “Read” RIGHT Soft Menu key or press your Trimble
Ranger’s ENTER key
• Start a endpoint’s radio – “S” key or “Start” button on the screen
• Stop a endpoint’s radio – “T” key or “Stop” button on the screen
• Enter an Odometer Reading to program to a endpoint – “O” key or “Odometer” button on the screen
• Program a endpoint’s odometer value to match the RTR® – “P” key or “Program” button on the screen
• Pause a endpoints radio until water flows through the meter – “U” key or “Pause” button the screen
• Select “D” to read the ORION and determine what Gas Drive circle it has been programmed for (only applicable if the
ORION is Gas ORION).
