Output signal
The output signal is square wave signal where the frequency is
proportional to the flow rate. An external, user-supplied pull-up
resistor is required to ensure that the open collector will sink less
than 20 mA. Applying a current greater than 20 mA may damage
the sensor.
Operating and Installation instructions
1. Check compatibility of media with sensor material
Grilamid TR55 (PA 12) or trogamid or brass.
2. Solid ingredients in medium require a filter in front of
a sensor. Avoid absolutely fibrous soiling.
3. Install sensor into properly cleaned pipeline only.
4. Check electrical connection according to the electrical
wiring plan.
5. Do not exceed the specific indications.
6. The Vision 2006/2008 is a volumetric measuring
device, i.e. air/gas in liquid will be included in
measured volume.
7. Correctly installed, the sensor works entirely
maintenance free.
8. The Vision
2006/2008 is not for general public use
and is to be installed and applied by trained personnel
only.
9. Do not blow out the turbine with compressed air. This
may damage the bearings.
