Description of Menus
Because of optimized local operation, for configuration neither PC nor control system is required.
In case operation via local keys is not possible check if write protection is set. Change via PC20 / IFDC or PC50 (FDT) software.

Foranoptimal actuator adaptationthe SRDhas to be configured whetherit
isarotary or astrokeactuator.
The positionerofthe rotary actuator can work directly withthe linearposi-
tion sensorvalue. In case of a stroke actuator an error tan(α) arises due
to the angleofthe resultingin1%non-linearityattravelof30°. TheSRD
is abletorecount travel viathe tanfunction andthus avoid biggerlinearity
errors.
The rotation direction of theadapter shaft forthe tapchanges depending
on themounting side of the stroke actuator.“Valveclosed” in one case
means “Valve open”in another one.
There are rotary actuatortypes opening in thecounter clockwise direction
and others opening in theclockwise direction. This alsohas to be signaled
to theSRD so that 0% “Valveclosed”and 100% “Valve open” arecorrectly
assigned.

Forstroke actuators mountedleft of thespindle resp. directly mounted.
--1--LED 2lights up
For stroke actuatorsmounted right of thespindle.
---1- LED3lights up
For rotary actuators opening thevalve during counter clockwise (left)rotation.
----1 LED4lightsup
For rotary actuators opening thevalveduring clockwise (right) rotation.
