Eyecontact: Rinseimmediatelywithplentyofwater,alsoundertheeyelids,foratleast15minutes.Keepeye
wideopenwhilerinsing.Removecontactlenses,ifpresentand easytodo.Continuerinsing.Get
medicalattentionifirritationdevelopsand
persists.Donotrubaff ectedarea.
Skincontact: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Get medical
attentionifirritationdevelopsandpersists.
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing has stopped, give artificial respiration. Get medical attention
immediately. Do not use mouth‐to
‐mouth method if victim ingested or inhaled the substance;
give artificial respiration with the aid of a pocketmask equippedwith aone‐wayvalve orother
properrespiratorymedicaldevice.Ifbreathingisdifficult,(trainedpersonnelshould)giveoxygen.
Delayedpulmonaryedemamayoccur.Getmedicalattentionimmediatelyif
symptomsoccur.
Ingestion: DoNOTinducevomiting.Rinsemouthimmediatelyanddrinkplentyofwater.Nevergiveanything
bymouthtoanunconsciouspers on.Callaphysicianorpoisoncontrolcenterimmediately.
Self‐protectionof
thefirstaider:
Ensurethatmedicalpersonnelareawareofthematerial(s)involved,takeprecautions
toprotect
themselvesandpreventspreadofcontamination.Avoidcontactwithskin,eyesorclothing.Avoid
direct contact with skin. Use barrier to give mouth‐to‐mouth resuscita tion. Use personal
protectiveequipmentasrequired.Wearpersonalprotectiveclothing(seesection8).
