Special mounting instructions must be followed to get optimal read/write
performance from the LRP820-08 antenna. Mount the antenna with a mini
-
mum 5.90" (150mm) spacing from any metal to the back or sides of the an
-
tenna, as shown in Figure 10.
Guidelines
n
Isolate the LRP820 and antenna from electromagnetic
radiation.
n
Avoid surrounding LRP820 and remote antenna with metal.
n
Maintain at least 2 meters minimum spacing between adjacent
LRP820s or antennas.
n
Stay within the guaranteed range for the tag to be used.
n
Conform with EIA RS232, RS422 and RS485 standards.
