Start and work with any pre- installed
application on your Banks iQ. Press
an application to begin using it. See
Figure 25.
Expand your Banks iQ system memory
by installing a micro-SD card in the
card slot or connecting USB thumb
drive/memory stick (each sold
separately) to the USB Flash Drive/
Headphone port located on the left
side of the device via the included
Y-cable.
Open and read your Microsoft® Office
documents. Work with the on-screen
keyboard and calculator, watch videos,
view pictures, listen to your favorite
music, and much more.
NOTE: The Windows CE operating
system comes standard in your Banks
iQ and enables you to perform the
productivity functions listed here.
In addition, it enables Banks iQ to
“talk” to and share information with
thumb drives or other Banks products.
*Do not use a USB thumb drive/
memory stick in the Y-cable while
the iQ is connected to the bridge
communication cable as the device
will not be viewed. Effective use of a
USB drive can only be initiated when
the iQ is not attached to the bridge
communication cable. If a USB thumb
drive/memory stick is used when
connected to the bridge cable, a
loss of communications could occur.
If communication is not able to be
restored automatically, the device will
need to be rebooted by sliding the
‘Power’ switch ‘Off’, then back ‘On’.
