2 Overview

The Banner A-GAGE

MINI-ARRAY measuring light screen is ideal for applicaons such as on-the-y product sizing and proling, edge-

guiding and center-guiding, loop tensioning control, hole detecon, parts counng, die ejecon vericaon, and similar uses.

A typical MINI-ARRAY System consists of the following components:

• Controller module

•

Emier

• Receiver

• Two interconnecng cables

Sensors are available in array lengths from 6 inches to 4 feet (in 6 inch increments), plus 5 foot and 6 foot array models. Sensors are

available with either 9.5 mm (3/8 inch) or 19.1 mm (3/4 inch) beam spacing, which translates to either 32 or 16 beams per foot of array

length. Sensors with 3/8-inch beam spacing have a sensing range of up to 6 m (20 ). Sensors with 3/4-inch beam spacing have a

sensing range of up to 17 m (55 ); 5  and 6  arrays have shorter ranges.
