6.3.1 ProII Input/Output Tab
Use this tab to set t he functionality of the six programmable I/O connections.
I/O 1 through 6 in the I/O column correspond to Pins 9 through 14 in the Pin # column.I/O, Pin #,
Function
Options from the drop-down list are:
• General Input: Input to the sensor.
• General Ouput: Output from the sensor that can be selected in a Test tool.
• Pass: Active when the entire nspection passes.
• Fail: Active when the inspection fails.
• System Error: Active when a system error occurs.
• Ready: Active when the sensor is ready to accept another trigger.
Each programmable I/O can be set for the following operations:Electrical
• Current sinking (PNP) input
• Current sinking (NPN) input
