ASSEMBLY 5 /32" x 11/ 2" Pin End of Steering Column Hole Steering Column 6 4 • Insert the 5/32" x 11/ 2" pin through the hole in the end of the steering column. • Lower the steering column so that the pin fits inside the center of the steering wheel. BOTTOM VIEW • Wipe the steering column with a paper towel to remove any excess lubricant. • Turn the vehicle on its side.
ASSEMBLY Hood Latch Steering Column Cap End of Steering Column Slot Steering Rod Hole 8 Hood Latch BOTTOM VIEW Slot 10 • Turn the vehicle on its side. • Insert the end of the steering column through the hole in the steering rod. • Fit the steering column cap onto the end of the steering column. • Insert a hood latch into one of the slots in the front end of the vehicle. • Twist the base of the hood latch / turn to secure it in the vehicle.
ASSEMBLY Windshield Large Tab A Spacers Large Tab Large Slots Grille 12 B #8 x 3" Screws • Position the windshield so that the molded detail on the wipers faces the front end of the vehicle. • Insert and “snap” the two large tabs on the windshield into the large slots in the dash. • Pull up on the windshield to be sure it is secure. 14 • Fit two spacers between the grille and the back of the brush guard, as shown A .

Make sure the side of the seat belt with the fastener faces the outer edge of the seat.
ASSEMBLY Sport Bar Rear of Vehicle Supports 20 22 BOTTOM VIEW • Fit a support to one side of the sport bar. • Insert a #8- 32 x 15/8" screw through the support, the sport bar and out through the support. • Fit a #8 acorn lock nut to the end of the screw. • While holding the acorn lock nut with an adjustable wrench or pliers, tighten the screw. • Repeat this procedure to fasten the other support to the sport bar. • Turn the vehicle on its side.
ASSEMBLY Door Hinge 1.5V x 4 "C" (LR14) Battery Safety Information In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid battery leakage: • Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium). • Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment. • Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the product.
DECORATION • Before applying the labels, wipe the surface of the vehicle with a clean, dry cloth to remove any dust or oils. • Place the labels exactly as shown in the illustrations and avoid repositioning the labels • After applying a label, rub it firmly with a clean dry cloth, starting at the center, to remove any air bubbles.

BATTERY INSTALLATION IMPORTANT! Use only a Power Wheels® 12 volt battery. Use of any other battery will damage your vehicle. Motor Harness Connector Hood Battery Compartment 3 Hood Latches • Plug the motor harness connector into the battery. 1 • Turn the hood latches a /4 turn. • Lift the hood to access the battery compartment. 1 Hood Power Wheels® 12 Volt Battery Battery Retainer Hood Latches 4 2 • Lower the hood and secure the hood latches. • Lift and pull the battery retainer forward.
SAFE DRIVING RULES Before children use this vehicle, an adult should carefully evaluate the driving area as well as the child’s skill level and ability to drive the vehicle safely. Teach appropriate safety rules to your child before allowing operation of this vehicle. These rules should also be reviewed with other playmates who want to drive the vehicle. • A child who is not sitting on the seat could fall off, cause a tip over or block the driver’s view.
VEHICLE OPERATION Advanced Use – High Speed Help your child practice steering to learn how far and how quickly to turn the steering wheel when driving, and automatically knows how to stop. Shifter Beginner Use – Low Speed Storage Position Lock-Out Position Lock-Out Screw • Before you disconnect the high speed lock-out, make sure your child knows how to steer, start and stop the vehicle, and knows the safe driving rules.
BATTERY CARE VEHICLE CARE If a battery leak develops, avoid contact with the leaking acid and place the damaged battery in a plastic bag. See next section for proper disposal. If acid comes in contact with skin or eyes, flush with cool water for at least 15 minutes and call a physician. If acid is internally ingested, give water, milk of magnesia or egg whites immediately. Never give emetics or induce vomiting. Call a physician. • Do not allow the battery to run down completely before charging.

If the vehicle is overloaded, the built-in thermal fuse in the battery may “trip”, and automatically shut down. Adjust the driving conditions to prevent repeated automatic shutdowns.
Before first-time use, you must charge the battery 18 hours! Charge the battery immediately after each use. Charge the battery once a month, even if the vehicle is not used or stored.
