4. CSE-200 Installation
1. Right click on the sound icon in the system tray and select Playback devices.TheSound window opens.
2. Select Sp eakers ClickShare, select S et default and c lick Apply.
4.7 LAN connection
About LAN connection
The B ase Unit c an be c onnected to a local network or directly to a laptop. For normal oper ation, a LAN connection is not necess ary.
The LAN connection c an be used:
•toconfigure your C SE- 200 unit
• to update the software
• for maintenance purpos es
• for network integration of your CS E- 200 unit
How to connect
1. Insert a network cable with R J-45 connector into the LAN port.
2. Connect the other side to a LAN.
4.8 Power connection
About power
This product is intended to be supplied by a UL Listed Power U nit marked “Class 2” or “LPS” or “Limited Power Source” w ith output
rated 12 V DC 1.5A m in or Power over Ethernet (PoE) Plus IEEE802.3at Type 2 compliant Po wer Sourcing Equipment (PSE) rated
42.5-57 V DC, 0.4-0.3A.
An ex ternal power adapter is delivered w ith the product.
Once the Ba se unit is powered, it starts up. Then the power button can be used to switch on or off.
How to connect the external power adapter.
1. Plug the barrel connector of the po wer adapter into the p ower input of the B ase unit.
2. Slide a power input adaptor piece (US, CN, EU or UK) on th e power ad apter of the ClickShare . Use the one which is applicable
in your country.
a) Slide down the button on the adapter (1).
b) Insert the latch (2) of the adap ter piece into notch (3)
