7.1 Software update
About Software updates
There are two ways to update the Base Unit software:
•viatheConfigurator, for more information, see "Firmware Update", page 61.
• by copying the software on a USB stick
To update the Base Unit software by copying the software on a USB stick
1. Download the latest version of the software from Barco’s w ebsite, , www.barco.com/clickshare. Click on Visit the ClickShare
product page and go to tab Downloads
2. Unzip the zip file.
3. Copy the ENC file to a USB stick.
4. Rename the file t o clickshare_firmware.enc.
Renaming is necessary as the software will look for that specific filename on the device.
5. Insert the US B stick into the USB po rt at the front of t he B ase Unit.
6. Follow the instructions on the meeting r oom screen.
7. When the on-s creen m essage indicates that the process is fin ished, remov e the US B stick.
The Base Unit reboots.
