REMOTE CONTROL english The remote control allows flexible access to the projector settings, either through direct keys, or through the menu system. The remote control is backlit for use in dark environments. It also has a data-jack that allows for wired connection to the projector. When the wire is connected, the IR (infra-red) beam and internal batteries are switched off. The remote control can be operated either in ‘broadcast mode’, or ‘individual mode’.

IMAGE ADJUSTMENTS english Position the projector on a level surface, preferably pointing straight on to the projection screen. Place it at a suitable distance within the throw range of the zoom lens. A ZOOM the image for the right size. Reposition the projector if the desired image size is not achievable. ZOOM is not available on some lenses. USING THE PROJECTOR english After setting-up, switch on all equipment. The projector can be controlled by the keypad, by the remote control or using the RS232 or LAN interfaces. To switch the projector on, firmly press the POWER button on the keypad or the remote control. The STATUS indicator will turn from yellow to blue when the unit is switched on. If the STATUS indicator is flashing yellow, please wait until it turns permanent yellow. Issue the PIN code if activated.

english remote control ID The projector can be set up to have a unique ID, so that it only responds to remote controls transmitting the same ID. Up to 99 units can be handled without interfering with eachother, using the same remote. By default, the projector is set to respond to any one remote control, thus is set to “broadcast”. To change, and set a unique ID, select, and change the value with the left / right arrow keys.

WARNING Be careful not to touch the protective glass when replacing the lamp house, this may cause the protective glass to overheat and break while in use.
