4. Operation
Using the Setup Wizard
At the top of the Output Selection Menu, the output table lists current system 
information. Refer to the “
Output Table Description” section on page 79 for a 
description of the data. Below the table is the rear panel graphic. Please note:
~ Each output is a button.
~ Color is significant:
•
Red indicates “tiles detected,” but the output is not set up.
•
Green indicates the output is set up.
•
Gray indicates “tiles not detected.”
•
Cyan indicates “focus.”
7.  Press the button for the output that you wish to set up. 
8.  Depending on the type of output module(s), the following options are available:
~ For a bank that uses NNI output modules, the Test Pattern Rolling 
prompt appears. Please continue with step 
14.
~ For a bank that uses DVI output modules, the Wall Positioning Menu 
appears. Please continue with step 
9 below.
9.  For tiles connected to DVI output modules, the Wall Positioning Menu enables 
you to set dimensions, direction, and the starting point. The number of “detected” 
tiles is shown. The figure below shows the 
Set Dimensions Section of the menu.

~ Press {Set Columns}, and use the keypad to enter the number of 
columns in the wall. The 
Set Start Section of the menu updates.
~ Press {Set Rows}, and use the keypad to enter the number of rows in 
the wall. Both the 
Set Direction and Set Start sections update.
10.  In the Set Direction Section, press the button for the direction in which your tiles 
are wired — either 
{Horizontal} or {Vertical}.

Note
If you press a gray button for an output in which tiles have not 
been detected, the system provides a series of intelligent 
troubleshooting tests for power, cables and Fiberlink 
connections.
