Resuming Reading
There are several ways to resume reading something:
If your
NOOK has gone to sleep while you were reading, just awaken it. You are returned to
where you were reading when your
NOOK went to sleep.
If you are using other
NOOK features such as the Shop and library, tap the NOOK button and
then tap reading now to return to where you were reading.
If another
NOOK is associated with the same Barnes & Noble account, tapping reading now
returns the person reading on that
NOOK to whatever was last read on that NOOK.
When you pick an item to read in your library, if you have read it before, you are returned to
the most recently read page when you read it again.
For B&N content in your library, B&N eReader platforms keep track of where you were last reading
in each item across devices.
Turning Pages
On each side of your NOOK, there are two buttons for turning pages:
(Next Page): Display the next page of content or of a paginated list.
(Previous Page): Display the previous page of content or of a paginated list
When the touchscreen is not lit, you can swipe your finger to turn pages. You have to press a page
turn button or swipe to turn each page. To move through an eBook more quickly, tap Go to and
choose a page or destination in the eBook. If the eBook has bookmarks, tap Bookmarks > Go to
bookmark to jump to a bookmarked page.
