3. Tap in the text field in the dialog box. When a keyboard appears, edit the shelf ’s name as you like. Then tap Save.
Removing a Shelf
Removing a shelf does not delete any of the books or periodicals on the shelf. It simply eliminates the shelf itself.
To remove a shelf, do this:
1. Tap the Edit bnutton to the right of the shelf ’s name.
A window opens, displaying a list of books and periodicals. Buttons appear at the top and bottom of the win-
dow.
2. Tap the Remove button.
A dialog box appears, asking if you really want to remove the shelf.
3. To remove the shelf, tap OK.
Copying Files from the SD Memory Card to Your NOOKcolor
To copy file from the microSD Memory Card to your NOOKcolor, do this:
1. Make sure that the microSD Memory Card is installed in your NOOKcolor. If it’s installed, you’ll see a large but-
ton that says Memory Card at the top of the Library screen.
2. In the Library, tap the My Files icon in the Media Bar to displays a list of files.
Your NOOKcolor displays a hierarchical list of files on your microSD Memory Card.
3. To copy a file or a category of files, press on hold the name of the file or category.
A pop-up menu appears.
4. In the pop-up menu, tap Copy to NOOKcolor.

Documents and Microsoft Oce Files
NOOKcolor can read the following types of files:
• PDF
• EPUB
• Word (doc and docx)
• Excel (xls and xlsx)
• PowerPoint (ppt and pptx)
• Rich Text Format (rtf )
• Plain Text (txt)
Video Files
Your NOOKcolor can play the following types of video files: 3gp, 3g2, mp4, m4v. It supports:
• MPEG-4 Simple Profile up to 854x480
• H.263 up to 352x288
