Configuring Keyboard Settings
On the Keyboard settings page, you can configure the behavior of your NOOKcolor’s online keyboard.
To configure the keyboard, do this:
1. On the Settings screen, tap Keyboard.
Your NOOKcolor displays the Keybord settings screen, which lists five options that you can turn on or o. The
keyboard options are:
• Keyboard sounds, which controls whether or not your NOOKcolor should play clicking sounds when you
tap the keys on a keyboard.
• Autocapitalization, which automatically capitalizes names and inital words in recommendations and
reviews.
• Quick fixes, which automatically corrects common typing errors.
• Show suggestions, which causes your NOOKcolor to display suggestions for common words when you
are typing.
• Auto-complete, which enables you to automatically insert a suggested word by pressing the spacebar or
by typing a punctuation mark.
2. Tap on the checkbox of any keyboard configuration option you want to change.
• When a checkbox is checked, the option is turned on.
• When a checkbox is unchecked, the option is turned o.
Your configuration changes take eect right away.
