REED VALVE BLOCK OFF KIT - Honda VTX
We recommend the use of Blue Loctite® on all fasteners and mounting
hardware. Our install guides provide a basic outline on the proper installation
of our products. Further tuning and/or fitment may be required. Baron bears

INSTRUCTIONS:
Please read ALL of the instructions BEFORE beginning the installation.
NOTE: We highly recommend the use of the factory service manual.
1. Remove the fuel tank per Honda service manual instructions.
2. Remove the air filter box.
3. Find rubber hose going to rear of air box and pull it off. Cap it with supplied rubber cap and the stock
clamp.
4. Follow the hose you just disconnected up to the top of front cylinder and you will find the PAIR valve
solenoid.
5. Unplug the electrical connection going to the PAIR solenoid.(Some models may not have electrical leads).
6. There are hoses that run from the PAIR solenoid to the top of each cylinder. Follow those hoses the pull them
off their fittings.
7. The entire PAIR solenoid with all its hoses attached can be removed from the motorcycle.
8. Remove the fitting from the top of each cylinder where the hoses were just removed and replace them with
supplied block-off plates. Reuse stock screws for this.
9. If your carburetor or throttle body has a vacuum line running to its base, and the other end of the line was
connected to the pair valve you will use the 2mm Cap (Supplied) to cap the spigot at the base of the carburetor.
10. Reinstall the air filter.
11. Reinstall the fuel tank per service manual instructions.
Note: No adjustment is needed to the fuel injection system because of this modification

This product is intended for installation on Honda VTX only.
