6.3 Handling accessories

Non certified accessories endanger explosion protection.
Danger to life exists in potentially explosive atmospheres!
 Only use original accessories from BARTEC
 Only permitted outside the potentially explosive atmosphere:
 Charge battery.
 Insert/remove Add-on modules
6.4 First steps
The individual steps are explained in detail in the following chapters!
1. Unpack the Tablet PC.
2. Insert the battery into the Tablet PC.
3. Charge the battery in the Tablet PC in a safe atmosphere using charging power
supply.
4. Switch on the Tablet PC.
In order to start using the Agile X IS Industry Tablet for the first time:
1. Install the external battery/cover module.
2. Fully charge the internal and external battery (if used, optionally available)
3. Install SIM/Micro SD Card/USB-Stick (Optional)
4. Start the Agile X IS
6.4.2 Insert battery
The Tablet PC is supplied with a build in 7.4 V / 4,200 mAh battery. If no external
battery is insert, a cover module must be placed instead.
