6.4.6 Remove/replace screen protector
DANGER
Non-certified accessories endanger explosion protection.
A danger to life exists in a potentially explosive atmosphere!
 A condition for a safety conscious operation is the use of original screen protectors
which have been specified for use by BARTEC.
 Using screen protectors from different manufacturers renders the ignition
protection useless so that there is a danger of fire or explosion.
Only admissible outside potentially explosive atmospheres:
 The screen protector may only be attached or replaced outside the potentially
explosive atmosphere!
ATTENTION
Incorrect handling may cause damage to property!
 Use a screen protector so as not to impair the device warranty.
 Only use screen protector (Type 17-A1Z0-0011) from BARTEC.
 Observe the installation instructions for the screen protector.
 Do not use any sharp objects to remove the screen protector!
The screen protector can be ordered from BARTEC. The installation instructions for the
screen protector forms part of the scope of delivery. Parts number: 17-A1Z0-0011
screen protector, 1 piece.
Work steps:
Only remove or replace the screen protector outside the potentially explosive atmosphere.
1. Lift a corner of the screen protector (a) and remove it from the display.
2. Attach the screen protector in accordance with the “Screen protector installation
instructions”.
