Delicate food products
Delicate food products, such as some baked goods, sour cream, cheese or bread should
only be partially defrosted in the microwave oven and then finished at room temperature.
This will help you to avoid situations in which the outside of the food is hot while the inside
is still frozen.
Leaving off
The time during which food products are left off after defrost is very important, as this
ensures continuation of the defrost process. After defrosting, prepare the defrosted food
products as quickly as possible and do not re-freeze defrosted food products.
