compatible with other brands of batteries.

The Basement Watchdog Emergency battery is
shipped dry and vacuum sealed to retain freshness.
Unlike other batteries, the Emergency battery will
have 100% life when you are ready to install it.
Activating the battery is done by simply adding
the 6 qt. battery uid pack (sold separately).
Instructions are provided inside the carton. An
electronic version and an instructional video are
available online at www.BasementWatchdog.com.
The uid is added, it will reach 85% charge within 15
minutes. The remaining charge is put in by the
Basement Watchdog backup sump pump system.
Basement Watchdog batteries are the only batteries
that will accommodate the uid sensor allowing the
backup
pump controller to sound an alarm when
distilled water is needed.
