b) General menu operation
• The 44 /66 buttons are used to select individual menu items or to set values .
• Press the M button to enter the menu or to conrm a selection.
• Press and hold down the M button to return to the main menu.
c) Main menu selection
• Select the desired main menu with the 44 /66 buttons.
(Music - Recording - Voice - FM Radio - text - Settings).
• Press the M button to switch to the submenu.
• Press and hold down the M button to return to the main menu.
d) Music playback
• From the main menu select “Music”. Press the M button to switch to the submenu.
• Press the
63 button to start or stop playing music.
• Press the 44 or 66 button to jump to the next or previous track.
• Press and hold down the 44 or 66 button during playback to fast forward or rewind.
• Press the R/V button. Select button 44 or 66 to select the desired volume.
Playback settings (Music)
During playback press the M button to change to Music Settings. The following settings are
available.
Repeat
Normal Plays all titles
Repeat One Plays current title continuously/repeatedly
Folder Plays current folder
Repeat Folder Plays folder repeatedly
Repeat All Plays all titles repeatedly
Random
Intro Plays rst 10 seconds of every track
EQ Setting
Natural - Rock - Pop - Classic - Soft - Jazz - DBB
Repeat
• The A symbol ashes on the display. Press button
66 . The loop starting point is set.
• B ashes on the display. Press button
66 . The playback loop is set and is playing.
• Press the M button to stop the playback loop at any time.
Replay times
Enter the number (1-10) to select how many times the playback loop should be repeated.
Repeat interval
Settings for the length of intervals (1-10 seconds) between playback loops.
Exit
To change to the music menu.
Title search in main menu “Music” or delete title/le
Stop the playback loop and press the M button.
Card folder
This menu item allows you to search the memory card for music titles or recordings and select
them for playback.
• Use the
44 /66 buttons to select the desired title or folder.
• Press the M button to enter the folder, to conrm the selection or to exit the folder.
• The selected title can now be played by pressing the
63 button.
• The menu item “Card folder” can also be exited by switching to the item “ROOT” and conrm-
ing this selection with the M button.
Delete le
Deletes the currently displayed title or recording.
• Interrupt the music playback. Press the M button.
• Select the menu item “Delete le” then press the M button.
• Use the
44 /66 buttons to select “YES”.
• Press the M button to delete the title.
Delete all
Allows you to delete all titles and recordings. Text les are preserved.
• Interrupt the music playback. Press the M button.
• Select the menu item “Delete all” then press the M button.
• Use the
44 66 buttons to select “YES”.
• Press the M button to delete all titles and/or recordings.
e) Radio
The headphone cable serves as reception antenna. To use the radio the headphone
must be plugged in.
• Select the main menu “FM Radio”. Press the M button to switch to the submenu.
• Select the desired station by briey pressing the 44 or 66 button. The frequency setting is
reduced or increased by 0.1MHz.
• Or start the radio station search by holding down,
44 or 66 until the station search starts.
• Using the
63 button you can select previously saved stations. For this, however, you must
have already saved some stations.
FM radio settings
Press the M button to access the radio settings menu. The following settings are available.
Automatic station search
Select menu item “Auto Search”. This allows you to search stations and automatically store
stations.
Manual station store
• The MP3 player is in radio mode and a station is playing which has not yet been stored.
• Press the M button to access the radio settings menu.
• Use buttons
44 or 66 to select the “Save” setting..
• Press the M button to save the station.
Delete station
• The MP3 player is in radio mode. Use the
63 button to select the station you wish to delete.
• Press the M button to access the radio settings menu.
• Use buttons
44 or 66 to select the “Delete” setting.
• Press the M button to delete the station.
Delete all saved stations
Menu item: “Delete all”. This will delete all saved stations.
Recording
• The MP3 player is in radio mode and a station is playing which you wish to save.
• Press the M button to access the radio settings menu.
• Use buttons
44 or 66 to select the “Record” setting.
• Press the M button.
• Press button
63 to start recording.
• The recording can be paused or continued by using the Play/Pause
63 button.
• Press and hold down button
63 to save the recording. Or press and hold down the M button
to save the recording and exit the menu item.
Recording type
For recording, the bit rate can also be set. Press button
63 to pause recording.
• The recording is paused. Press the M button.
• Choose between Card folder, REC type and Exit.
• Press button M and use the
44 /66 buttons to select “REC type”.
• Press button M and now select the desired bit rate.
• Conrm the selection by pressing the M button.
The chosen recording bit rate in mode FM Radio also applies to the recording bit
rate in mode “Recording”.
The menu item “Card folder” has no function in this submenu. Select “Exit” to return
to recording.
f) Recording
• Select the main menu “Recording”. Press the M button to switch to the submenu.
• Press button
63 to start recording speech.
• The recording can be paused or continued by using the Play/Pause
63 button.
• Press and hold down button 63 to save the recording or press and hold down button M to save
the recording and exit the Recording mode.
Recording type
For recording, the bit rate can also be set. Press button
63 to pause recording. The setting is
identical to the bit rate setting for Radio mode/ Recording type.
