g) Playback of recordings
• Select the main menu “Voice”. Press the M button to switch to the submenu.
• To play recordings, please refer to the item “Music playback”. The procedures for playing
music titles and recordings are identical.
Playback setting (Voice)
• During playback press the M button to change to playback settings.
• The playback setting
“Voice”
is identical to the playback setting in music mode.
Recording and delete recordings
Stop the playback then press button M. The following selections are available.
Card folder/Delete le/Delete all/Exit
Please refer also to the description for music playback. The procedure is identical but here
only Voice and Radio recordings can be displayed, selected and deleted. Music and text titles
cannot be displayed and deleted.
h) Text display
The MP3 player can reproduce text (format .txt) in the display.
• Select the main menu “text”. Press the M button to switch to the submenu. .
• Select the desired text with button

63 to display the text.
• Change pages with buttons

• To exit the text, press button

Bookmarking
• Press button M on the page to be bookmarked.
• Use buttons

or 66 to select the “Bookmark Add” setting.
• Press the M button to add the bookmark.
Display bookmarks
• Open a text with bookmarks.
• Press the M button.
• Use buttons

or 66 to select the “Bookmark Select” setting.
• Press the M button to display the bookmarks for this text.
• Use the

/66 buttons to select the bookmark and press the M button.
Delete bookmarks
• Open a text with bookmarks.
• Press the M button.

• Press the M button. The bookmark list will be displayed.

/66 to select the bookmark to be deleted.
• Press the M button to delete the bookmark.
Exit
To change to the Text menu.
Submenu - Text display
The submenu in text mode (Card folder, play set, Delete le, Delete all, Exit) has
no function. Exit the menu by pressing and holding down the M button for a longer
period of time.
i) Settings
• Select the main menu “Settings”. Press the M button to switch to the submenu.
Backlight
Illumination period (0 - 30 seconds) for the illumination of the display. If there is no key input,
the background lighting will switch off after the set period.
The 0 = function is deactivated
The background lighting will reactivate when any button is pressed.
Language
Setting the Menu language.
Power off
Off time (after 0 – 60 seconds)
When the device is not in playback mode it switches off after the set period. The 0 = function
is deactivated
Sleep time (0 - 120 minutes):
The device will switch off automatically after the set time interval has elapsed. The 0 = function
is deactivated
Contrast
Contrast setting for the display.
Memory info
Memory display.
Firmware version
Firmware display.
Firmware upgrade
To update rmware
Set Default
Restore MP3 player to factory settings.
Exit
To exit the system setting this jumps to the min menu.
Maintenance and cleaning
The product does not require any maintenance and should never be disassembled for any
reason. Any maintenance or repair work may only be performed by an expert.
The outside of the product should only be cleaned with a clean, soft, dry cloth.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could dam-
age the housing (discoloring) or impair operation. Also, do not press too hard
on the display, as this may cause scratch marks or damage the display .
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, long-haired brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable material and do not belong in the household
waste. Dispose of an unserviceable product and the end of its life in accordance
with the relevant statutory regulations.
