Inserting/replacing the batteries
Open the lid of the money box, by turning it anticlockwise until it can be removed.
Loosen the single screw in the cover of the battery compartment, so it can be removed.
Insert two AA batteries with the correct polarity (pay attention to plus/+ and minus/-).
Close the battery compartment again. Then replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the screw
again carefully.
You will nd a small button marked “RESET” at the top of the battery compartment. Press this
button to reset the display to “0”.
Close the money box by putting the cover on and turning it clockwise. The money box is now ready for use.
The batteries must be replaced if the display contrast fades or if there is no image on the display.
When changing the batteries, the total amount stored in the counter is stored. It is only deleted
and reset to “0” when the “RESET” button is pressed.
Operation
Only insert a single Euro coin (1 cent, 2 cent, 5 cent, 10 cent, 20 cent, 50 cent, 1 euro or 2 euro) at a time
in the counter‘s slot and press it down completely.
During operation of the counter, it is necessary for the mechanics to recognise the exact coin
diameter. For this reason, a relatively strong spring is needed in the counter, so the recognition
rollers in the counter slot press rmly on the inserted coin. For this reason, inserting a coin
requires a little extra force.
The coin is recognised by the counter and it is added to the total amount on the display.
Inserting a coin too quickly or coins that are worn or damaged on the edges can lead to incorrect
recognition. The same applies if the coin is not inserted into the counter slot completely and/or
retracted or if several coins are inserted at the same time.
Reset (Reset the Total Amount to “0”)
Open the lid of the money box, by turning it anticlockwise until it can be removed.
You will nd a small button marked “RESET” at the top of the battery compartment. Press this button to
reset the display to “0”.
Close the money box by putting the cover on and turning it clockwise.
