c) Tips and important information
• Cut up large pieces of food into 1-2 cm chunks before puréeing.
• For optimum results, avoid placing too much food into the mixing bowl at once. Blend the food in batches and then
mixittogetherafteryouhavenishedblendingit.
• You will need to add a certain amount of liquid to the mixing bowl when processing solid foods. Add water, stock,
juice, milk, cream or other liquids until the desired consistency is reached.
11. Care and cleaning
The blender is not dishwasher safe! Never allow the motor unit or the mains cable to come into contact with
water or other liquids! Never rinse them under running water, as this may cause an electric shock!
The blade is very sharp and may cause injuries! Always wait until the blade has come to a complete
standstill before removing or cleaning the blending attachment.
Never use aggressive detergents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions, as these could damage the
casing or even impair the functioning of the product.
• Always disconnect the product from the power supply before cleaning it.
• Turn the blending attachment anticlockwise until the arrow on the motor unit is aligned with the open lock symbol
on the blending attachment.
• Removetheblendingattachmentfromthemotorunit.
• Clean the blending attachment by hand with warm water and a small amount of washing-up liquid, and then wipe
it dry.
• Clean the motor unit using a damp soft cloth.
• Afteryouhavenishedcleaninganddryingallofthecomponents,reassembletheblenderasdescribedinsection
“a)Assemblyandconnection”.
• Store the blender in a dry, dust-free location out of the reach of children.
12. Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the household waste. At the end of
itsservicelife,disposeoftheproductaccordingtotherelevantstatutoryregulations.Removeanyinserted
(rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately from the product.
