• Never place any containers containing liquids, such as buckets, vases or plants, in
the direct vicinity of the product. Liquids may seep into the casing and thus impair
the electrical safety of the device. Furthermore, there is a signicant risk of re or
of a lethal electric shock! In such an event, isolate the mains socket, to which the
product is connected (e.g. switch off the automatic fuse), and unplug the wall plug
transformer from the socket. The product must not be operated any longer. Take
it to a specialist workshop.
• In industrial facilities, the regulations for the prevention of accidents laid down by
the professional trade associations for electrical equipment and facilities must be
adhered to.
• Do not cascade the product (do not plug several energy-saving outlets or cable
reels one after the other).
• Only use a standard power socket (with protective earth wire) connected to the
public power supply (230 V/AC, 50 Hz) to power the product.
• Never plug in or unplug the product with damp or wet hands.
• Consult an expert when in doubt about operation, safety or connection of the
device.
• Maintenance, modications and repairs are to be performed exclusively by an
expert or at a qualied shop.
• If you have questions which remain unanswered by these operating instructions,
contact our technical support service or other technical personnel.
Start-up
• Connect consumer loads of up to max. 1100 Watts (with rolled-up cable) or max. 3200 Watts
(with rolled-out cable) to the hand cable reel.
• Plug the Schuko plug into a proper mains socket (with protective earth conductor) of the
public grid (230 V/AC, 50 Hz).
• The consumer loads are now powered accordingly.
If the internal thermal protection is triggered, this is the case at
+56°C +/- 5°C, disconnect all consumer loads from the cable reel. Following that,
wait a while until the thermal protection has cooled down. Press the red push-button
afterwards.
Care and cleaning
• The product does not require any maintenance and should never be opened or disassembled
for any reason.
• Prior to cleaning the device, pull the plug out of the mains outlet. Clean the outside with a
clean, soft cloth.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product according to
the relevant statutory regulations.

environment.

Intended use
The cable reel is used for the connection of consumer loads of up to max. 1100 Watts (with
rolled-up cable) or max. 3200 Watts (with rolled-out cable).
To comfortably roll the cable up or out the hand cable reel can be taken in the hand.
The cable reel features an internal, inbuilt thermal protection. This thermal protection is
triggered at +56°C +/- 5°C.
The product is only approved for use in dry indoor locations. It is powered via 230 V/AC 50 Hz.
For safety and approval purposes, you must not rebuild and/or modify this product. If you use
the product for purposes other than those described above, the product may be damaged.
In addition, improper use can cause hazards such as short circuiting, re, electric shock etc.
Read the instructions carefully and keep them. Make this product available to third parties only
together with its operating instructions.

• The device is not a toy. Keep it out of the reach of children and pets.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. This may become
dangerous playing material for children.
• Protect the product from extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, strong jolts, high
humidity, moisture, ammable gases, vapours and solvents.
• Do not place the product under any mechanical stress.
• If it is no longer possible to operate the product safely, take it out of operation and
protect it from any accidental use. Safe operation can no longer be guaranteed
if the product:
- is visibly damaged,
- is no longer working properly,
- has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions or
- has been subjected to any serious transport-related stresses.
• Please handle the product carefully. Jolts, impacts or a fall even from a low height
can damage the product.
• When the product is taken from a cold to a warm room (e.g. during transport),
condensation may be produced. This could damage the product. There is also the
danger of a fatal electric shock! Therefore, you should allow the product to warm
up to room temperature before use or connecting the power supply to an electrical
socket. This may take several hours.
• The product is intended for use in dry interiors, it must not get damp or wet. This
could not only destroy the product but it also presents a mortal hazard through an
electric shock!
