Intended use
This alarm set consists of a passive infrared alarm system controlled by infrared, which can be used for sur-
veillance of shops, offices or homes. The built-in passive infrared motion sensor has a surveillance range of
approximately 100 square metres. You can also connect five magnetic contacts and an external piezo alarm
siren to the system. The two infrared remote controls also function as 24 hour panic buttons and can activate
the alarm in an emergency.
The alarm set is intended for indoor use only and should not be used outside or in damp conditions, such as in
bathrooms.
Power is supplied via the 230 V 50 Hz / 12 V DC 500 mA mains adaptor provided. In the event of a power fail-
ure, the alarm set is supplied with power from a 9 V battery.
Use other than that described above will lead to damage to the product and will expose you to additional risks,
such as short circuits and fire. The safety instructions should be observed at all times!
