BAT-SAFE – Setup instructions

1. To install charger stand:

a. Remove white backing

from one side of the small

Velcro and stick it on back

of charger stand. Remove

the counter side Velcro

and stick it onto BAT-SAFE

lid as shown.

b. Slide tabs in vent holes and secure charger

stand to back of BAT-SAFE lid via the small

velcro.

c. Add Velcro to face of charger stand and back

of charger.

d. Attach charger to charger stand via velcros. 2. Install wire way: a. Place charger wires between each half of wire way. b. Pull wire and wire way seal through opening in box lid as one unit.

c. Minimize gapping and ensure the upper and lower lip of the wire way is properly seated on outside of box lid. 3. Charger wire hookup: a. Connect charger and balancing wires as usual. Ensuring wires do not pass over exhaust holes in lid. b. Hot exhaust from a battery fire can damage charger, do not allow charger or wires to hang over vent holes 4. Usage a. Place box on fire resistant surface ensure at least 12 inches or 30 cm of clear space above lid exists prior to using box. b.

d. Charge batteries as per normal charging instructions.
