4.1 First Aid Procedures
Skin
Remove contaminated clothing. Wash exposed area with soap and water. If symptoms persist, seek
medical attention. Launder clothing before reuse
Eyes
Flood with plenty of water with eyelids held open for at least 15 minutes and get medical attention
promptly.
Inhalation
If symptoms develop, immediately move individual away from exposure and into fresh air. Seek
immediate medical attention.
Ingestion
DO NOT induce vomiting. If conscious and alert, give 2-4 cupfulls of milk or water. Get medical
aid immediately.
4.2 General Health Considerations
Skin
Prolonged and/or repeated contact may cause irritation and/or dermatitis. Contact with skin causes
irritation and positive burns, especially if the skin is wet or moist.
Eyes
Eye contact can cause irritation, redness, tearing, blurred vision and may cause transient injury to
cornea.
Inhalation
Inhalation of dust can cause nasal and respiratory irritation
Ingestion
May cause irritation, burns to mouth and esophagus. Aspiration of the swallowed or vomited
product can cause severe pulmonary complications
