Refinishing Kit

CHIP REPAIR KIT INSTRUCTIONS

Chip Repair Application

STEP 1: Pick or Dremal® away loose matter from edges with sharp-

edged utility knife.

STEP 2: Mix three (3) parts Chip Filler with one (1) part Cream

Hardener. Stir mixture well using stir stick.

NOTE: Patch must be used within 2 minutes. Patch will not respond to surface

temperatures under 65°F. Mix only what is needed, any remaining product may

be saved for later use.

STEP 3: Liberally apply patch compound to repair area with stir stick or

razor blade. Using a heat gun or blow dryer will speed dry times.

STEP 4: Once area has completed its cure, it should be hard to the

touch. Sand area, wet or dry, with sandpaper until flush with

surrounding areas. Repeat steps 2 & 3 if necessary.

Repair Paint Application

NOTE: If you are refinishing the full tub/sink and you have purchased one of our

Bathworks® Premium, Standard, or Sink Refinishing Kits, you will not need to

preform the following steps. You may now proceed with refinishing your surfaces

by following the instructions provided within your other kit. Otherwise, proceed with

the touch-up paint steps below.

STEP 1: Wipe the repair & surrounding area clean with provided

alcohol wipe.

STEP 2: Shake repair paint thoroughly. Carefully remove cap. Using

applicator brush, dip into paint container. Lightly stroke & feather

edges. Replace cap after use, and clean applicator brush with Xylene

or similar cleaning agent.

NOTE: Must dry 24 hours before use.
