It regulates the temperature inside the refrigerator and freezer, depending on what number you have turned the thermostat control knob to. o Position <0> means that the appliance will not cool. However the light will still function.
Using the Fast Freeze freezer drawer This facility should be used before and whilst you are freezing fresh food. It will ensure that a powerful supply of cold air enters the top freezer drawer. o Set the thermostat to setting <7> a few hours prior to freezing the fresh food. o Put your fresh food into the Fast Freeze drawer and leave to cool for 24 hours. o After 24 hours check that the food has frozen satisfactorily.
o Some organic solutions, such as the oils in lemon/orange peel and acid in butter, can cause damage to the plastic parts contained inside of the refrigerator. o Do not open the refrigerator door too often or leave the door open for long periods of time, as this will increase the temperature inside of the appliance. o Meat should be wrapped in polythene bags and then placed on the glass shelf above the salad crisper drawers. o Cold dishes/cooked food should be covered and can be placed on any shelf.
