* If you are using the appliance in recirculation mode, then PLEASE
NOTE that some of the vent in the upper chimney section must be
exposed. You will have to take this into account when calculating the
minimum height of the cooker hood when installed.
Using your Baumatic cooker hood
The control panel
o Make sure that it has been installed by a suitably qualified
person, as per the information contained in Baumatic’s
installation instructions.
o Find the control panel, which is located in the middle of the
canopy.
o There are several buttons on the control panel, which perform
separate functions.
IMPORTANT: IDEALLY YOU SHOULD TURN ON YOUR
HOOD TEN MINUTES BEFORE YOU START TO COOK.
OR AT THE VERY LEAST WHEN YOU BEGIN COOKING.
YOU SHOULD ALSO RUN YOUR HOOD FOR TEN
MINUTES AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED COOKING.
Switching the cooker hood on and setting the fan speed
o When the cooker hood is connected to the power supply, it will
enter stand-by mode.
o To switch the lights on, press the Light button.
o If you press the Add/ON button, the cooker hood will switch on
and the motor will run on low speed.
o To increase the speed that the motor is running at, press the
Add/ON button.
o The cooker hood has three operating speeds, low, medium and
high.
o To decrease the speed that the motor is running at, press the
Add/OFF button.
