Fitting the carbon filters

If the appliance is going to be used in recirculation mode then it is

necessary to fit a pair of carbon filters. This will help to absorb

unpleasant odours caused by cooking.

IMPORTANT: BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO FIT OR

REMOVE THE CARBON FILTERS, YOU MUST

ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE DISCONNECTED THE

COOKER HOOD FROM YOUR MAINS SUPPLY.

o Open the cover screen.

o Remove the grease filter by lifting up the

catch and then pulling the filter away from

the hood.

2) Place a carbon filter at

both sides of the motor.

You should make sure

that the cut out in the rim

of the carbon filter, lines

up with the lug on the

motor.

3) Turn each of the carbon filters clockwise until

they lock securely into place.

o Refit the grease filter and close the cover

screen.

o The carbon filters should be replaced every three months or if

they show signs of damage.
