SECTION 11. TOXICOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Only acute toxicity studies have been performed on the formulated product. The non-acute information
pertains to the technical-grade active ingredients, beta-cyfluthrin, an enriched isomer mixture of technical-
grade cyfluthrin, and OPP for which Preventol ON-extra is a sodium salt of OPP.
Further toxicological information on technical-grade cyfluthrin can be obtained by calling the Product
Information Number, which is listed in Section 1 of this MSDS.

Chronic Toxicity
OPP caused liver, kidney, spleen and/or urinary bladder effects in chronic
studies in rats and mice.
Assessment Carcinogenicity
OPP caused liver and urinary bladder tumors in male mice and rats, respectively, when tested at very high
dose levels in lifetime feeding studies. EPA, however, has classified OPP as "Not likely to be carcinogenic
below a specific dose range."
