INSTALLATION Water and Moisture - Do not install the appliance near water: for example, near a bathtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub, in a wet basement, or near a swimming pool.

CONTROLS AND CONNECTORS DC POWER INLET Accepts any standard 9VDC power supply. LED Indicates Freq Boost is engaged. VOLUME CONTROL Regulates the amount of output. OUTPUT The output is designed for running instrument cables directly to your amplifier. 2 INPUT Plug in your guitar, bass or the previous instrument level output of your signal chain. TRUE BYPASS FOOTSWITCH Engages the Freq Boost effect.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT BATTERY COMPARTMENT Pull the latch to the left with thumbnail to release the hinged battery compartment cover. Carefully unplug battery without straining cables. Replace with fresh battery in reverse order. POWER SUPPLY CONNECTOR Connect the 9VDC power supply here. Use a standard 9Volt battery. Battery life is about 300 hours. Unplugging the input to the Freq Boost will turn the unit off and conserve battery life.
APPLICATIONS We recommend placing the Freq Boost before your amplifier or any overdrive/distortion pedal for the most desirable effect, but please feel free to experiment Please Note: When using a BBE Sonic Stomp we recommend placing it last in the signal chain.
SERVICE Should the Freq Boost ever require service we recommend that it be sent to our facility in California. Please contact our Service Department at 800-233-8346 extension 116 for a “Return Authorization” and include a copy of the original sales receipt. If this product was purchased outside of the United States, please contact your local distributor. MAINTENANCE Maintenance of the BBE Freq Boost is limited to proper cleaning of the unit with mild household cleaner such as Formula 409™ or Windex™.
WARRANTY Warranty registration of the unit to BBE Sound, Inc. is not necessary. It is strongly recommended that you retain a copy of the bill of sale for future reference. IT IS THE SOLE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE END USER TO PROVIDE THE BILL OF SALE OR OTHER MEANS OF PROOF OF PURCHASE TO VALIDATE THE WARRANTY IF WARRANTY SERVICE IS REQUESTED. The BBE Freq Boost is warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from date of purchase from BBE Sound Inc.
